With no live sports in the world, we are forced to watch replays of earlier events. So, have a little sailing from the London Olympics.
This video never gets old.

the local TV stations have been playing the games from the ‘97, ‘98, ‘02, and ‘08 Stanley Cup finals.
I’ll take it.

As a Blackhawks fan, I appreciated NBC replaying their last two Cup victories. I’ve also enjoyed watching games in NHLN from back in the 90s. I don’t understand, though, how games from 2019 can be considered “classic.” Those would be more accurately described as reruns. Same with the “classic” college football games from last December/January. I’ve actually been watching a lot of team handball. Looks like it would be really fun to play, if I were more fit.

My wife and I are missing baseball for sure...

I just rewatched Game 6 from the 1975 WS (Red v Red Sox with that famous Carlton Fisk homer). That was the first World Series I remember watching, since my mom was a Boston fan. One of the greatest games of all time. And so many famous players. I’m not much for watching baseball on TV, but I love going to the park to watch a game. We’ve got the Round Rock Express, which is an affiliate of the Astros. What I love about going to a game is that it’s at an easy pace, it doesn’t demand your constant attention, you can have a conversation with your seat mate, all of it. I already miss it.

If I am not at the ballpark I like listening to the game over watching it on TV. It takes me back to summers of my childhood camping listening over crackly AM radio to the Cardinals playing ball.

My wife got me an Edgar Martinez Jersey and was going to get us Mariners tickets for my birthday too.

I wonder if anyone else bothered to watch it. That was one of the funniest moments of oblivious commentary I’ve ever heard.
I spent a summer on a lake and had access to Sunfish and Hobie Monocats to sail on my free time , but there weren’t any Lasers in the fleet. I miss those days.

I have a feeling it was done after the fact as a gag, but it’s still fooking hilarious.

Yeah, it’s tagged with @ViperHiggi ns right at the beginning. That’s a twitter handle and YouTube channel which both came online about 5 years ago - about the same time that Adventure Andrew stopped posting videos to youtube.
It’s still hilarious.
